You might have walked past this place a thousand times without noticing it. Tucked in a tiny alley close to Liverpool Street, Ye Ye Noodles serves probably the best beef noodles in London.
They have several options to choose from, but the soupless spicy beef noodles basically transported me to China for free. The beef is some of the juiciest I’ve had, the noodles are perfectly cooked and made in-house, and the dish is topped with fresh coriander.
It’s the type of meal where everyone goes silent because there is no time to waste yapping while it gets cold!
Pair it with a side of their dumplings - pork or chives & prawns (yes, get both), and thank me later. Their menu is limited at the Artillery Passage location, but they have a proper restaurant right around the corner on Wentworth Street, where you have a wider menu to choose from.
Ye Ye is a great spot to meet up with friends or loved ones for some comfort food, a laid-back evening and just good vibes all around.
And remember… life is too short to die on an empty stomach — so make it count!
