Thrift shopping is like treasure hunting. You never know what you're going to find! There's beauty in recycling and magic in breathing fresh life into old things.
I like to find silver, skirts, scarves, jewelry, books, baskets, and old board games. My son likes to find toys. I once got a snowboard for $10. The cool thing is that there’s something for everyone.
The best neighborhoods to thrift in LA are Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank, and Santa Monica. There are exceptional shops in the hood-rich parts of LA too! Here's My List of the Best "Thrift Shops" in LA:
Bell Thrift
SOS Thrift
LA Road Thrift
Magnolia Park Thrift District
Assisted League - Thrift Alley in Glendale
Thrift Dynasties (Multiple Shops in LA): Goodwill, Assisted League, The Council Sh0p. “Thrift dynasties” are businesses with multiple shops throughout LA. My favorite is Thrift Alley in Glendale. It's open Wednesday - Saturday 10 am - 2 pm and freshly circuits items.
