Exposition Park Rose Garden – Smell the roses

I’m not sure which part of this place I love more – the California Science Center, or the Rose Garden! The California Science Center is a place most LA Natives have been at least once. I went many times on field trips during my elementary school years. I’ve always liked this museum because they aren’t afraid to let you get hands on! I also loved the Rose Garden because it was full of beautiful flowers where we could picnic and run free.

The Rose Garden is located just outside the museum, and is especially beautiful in the spring. One of the best parts is that it is absolutely free! I could literally spend hours here just walking around and enjoying the smell of the roses. There are also gazebos if you want to stop and rest. Try to go on a weekday if you can, that way you can get some good pictures without too many people wandering in the background!
