I apologize in advance for potentially misleading you all. Steven’s is a Steakhouse, but I have never tried the food. I list this as one of my local hangouts because I come here frequently, but not to feed my appetite. Rather, I come to Steven’s Steakhouse to satisfy my inner Salsera.
Steven’s Steakhouse is one of LA’s top Salsa dancing destinations. I know a Steakhouse seems like an unlikely place to have dancing, but they have a large banquet hall as well as a tiny room upstairs for alternative music choices like Kizomba, which is becoming popular in Los Angeles. I have been to Steven’s Steakhouse so many times that I’ve completely lost count.
They are famous for their Bachata nights on Wednesdays, but they always have salsa playing somewhere in the building. It’s a place that has character, and you can find an interesting and lively crowd. On Sunday nights they often have a live band, so even when your feet get tired you can relax and enjoy a show. They have classes there every day, so if you don’t know how to dance or want to brush up before you hit the floor you are able to learn from the experts! They have also recently started hosting concerts for big name acts like Gilberto Santa Rosa!
