La Cocina de Mi Vecina – Cakes everywhere!

Guys. Honestly, if you love cake (or even just like it), you need to come here.

Cocina de Mi Vecina is heaven for my sweet tooth. Let me start off by saying that there are FIFTEEN cakes to choose from. FIFTEEN! (Yes, I’ve almost tried all of them. I’m not ashamed of this.)

I love this spot because it never disappoints. It’s quaint on the inside, honestly nothing too special. But people come here for the quality of the cakes. It’s very fairly priced and there’s even a deal during the week (Monday – Thursday) that is 4.60 for a slice of whatever cake you want and a coffee/tea. Sounds like a perfect way to break up the week, no?

They also make other treats like cookies, brownies, cupcakes. But if you haven’t gotten the idea, YOU NEED TO TRY THE CAKE.

Some of my favorite flavors are the carrot cake, the oreo cheesecake and the Guinness chocolate cake. Come with a friend or two to split a few pieces so you can try a bunch!
