If you love croquettes as much as I do, then you have to visit The Original Globet Croquettes: a stall inside Anton Martín market —stall 23, 1st floor— and they only make croquettes. They offer 13 different kinds: serrano ham, porcini mushrooms, chorizo, confit leek, seafood, chicken curry, cocido, roasted chicken, bacon and parmesan cheese, truffle, salted cod, spinach. They only do croquettes, you can eat them at the shop or you can do take away.
All their croquettes are super creamy and very tasty, something that sounds obvious, but at the same time so difficult to find in many places. If you are not sure what to order, just get at least one of each!
They are very friendly! So take a seat, relax, enjoy your croquettes with a glass of wine —or two— and have a great time talking with them if you are interested about how they make them. Or tell them how you loved the croquettes, they are always happy to know.
