Years ago I used to have a piece of land to grow vegetables here, before the new area Hyllie ate up all the ground for construction and housing. Even then, I liked the park, but it was a bit dodgy, since it was in the outskirts of town. With the new Hyllie district and the swimming pool right next to it, the park has become more lively. There are seven small hills that are an all-time favorite of mine to run up and down, if I’m out on a run, or if I’m playing with or without kids. Also, the playground next to it is very good for kids up to 10 years of age.
In the evening the hills are lit up by lights and in different patterns that change all the time. It’s a great way to keep the area alive and interesting at nighttime. Go there for a picnic/play in the park during the day and to look at the lights in the evening. It’s easy to access walking from Hyllie station or by bike from the city.
