I have cycled by this place plenty of times and had never realized what I was missing. My friend asked me one day if I wanted to try ceramic painting and since I had never done that before, I agreed of course. We went there on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
The place is bright and spacious. On the left you have tables for work and on the right a whole selection of all things ceramic that one can paint – from mugs, cups, through plates and vases to all kinds of figurines. Whatever you fancy, you can pick up and start painting.
You have access to a selection of colours, materials, brushes etc. You pay for the pottery you picked and turn your creative brain on. While you’re trying to paint on the mug what you have envisioned, you can also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a tasty snack. Once you’re done painting, you leave your creations behind for them to be put in the furnace and burnt. I was thinking of showcasing my own work I have decided, however, to show you the pottery selection and a very nice example of completed work. I myself will return there for sure as it offers something very relaxing to do and it satisfies my creative side.
