Malmö had a Saluhall – food court – way back. Then we didn’t have one, and then this one opened in 2014. It is situated partly in some of the old train depots, but has been rebuilt. So the architecture is part old and part new — something very common in Malmö which was once an old industrial town. I like to eat here when I want a bit of everything, or if I want to eat “grown-up” food and my kids want something else.
They have 20 (or more) different food courts to choose from. There are pizza, noodles. sandwiches, cakes, cheese, ice cream, fish, fruits, fries, burgers – you name it! To go with that there are options of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, coffee, juices and tea. Water is for free, and can be found on tap. You can sit both inside and outside. All in all, great food, lots to choose from, but beware of hipsters 😉
