Malmö library is spread all over the city, but my all-time favorite part of it is this one. An old building has been united with a big glass part, so old and new unite in the building. It has been done very beautifully.
While in Malmö university, I liked studying in the new part and just sitting and reading books while looking out at the park that is situated next to the library. Now, with kids, I often visit the children’s area where there is a place to draw/paint/be creative. Your children can read books and play, and all in all invite you to take time for reading and exploring books. And the librarians are always very welcoming and friendly. So go there on a rainy day to read books or introduce reading to your child.
They also have books in many different languages that you can read while there, even if you are not a resident of Malmö. Malmo is a city with many backgrounds, cultures and mother tongues, after all.
