We got several new train stations when the new city tunnel opened in 2010. Now you can go from one side of Malmö to the other very fast, and the train connection to Copenhagen is much better and faster. Two of the new train stations are underground, and one thing they all have in common is that they have public art that I never get tired of looking at.
My favorite one is the lamps and the floors at the entrance of station Triangeln. Also the entrance in itself which looks like a giant snowball in a glass is worth looking at. While waiting for the train, there are lights moving on the walls of the station below ground. When the train arrives, the lights shift faster.
I like that this is a place that you go to get somewhere, but the art in itself makes the place in itself is worth going to, even though you are not going there to take the train.
