I’m lucky that I get to walk past Flourish on Tib Street every day on my way to work. There’s something about the setting, with its colourful modernist façade and monochrome tiled columns, juxtaposed with the greens and colours of plants and flowers, that always makes me smile.
Flourish is essentially a plant shop, but its aim is to offer a fresh approach to the traditional selling of flowers and plants akin to centuries-old flower stalls.
I’m always on the look out for new, interesting plants that you can’t find at generic garden centres – and Flourish specialise in curating a selection of exciting new plants, flowers and cacti regularly. Even if I’m not in a buying mood, I still like to go and have a look at what they’ve got to offer.
