V-Rev Vegan Diner Manchester

V-Rev Vegan Diner – Plant-based paradise

Whenever anybody asks me ‘what do vegans actually eat though?!’ my instant reaction is to pull out my phone and show them a picture of V-Rev. It may be an all-vegan restaurant but if you come here in the hopes of tucking into a plate of lettuce leaves and seeds you’re going to be sorely disappointed. Instead of the usual raw offerings you can expect to find huge burgers smothered in cheese, decadent milkshakes and huge portions of fries topped with anything from pepperoni and pizza sauce to peanut butter and sriracha mayo.

I’ve been a fan of V Rev for a while now but since the new, improved and bigger restaurant opened on Edge Street I think it’s the best it’s ever been. I’ve still yet to try everything on the menu but I can highly recommend Kevin Bacon – ‘buttermalk fried chckn with cheez, baecon and crispy onion’ . Make sure you get the loaded fries with it!

V-Rev describes its menu as ‘Junk Food That Doesn’t Cost the Earth’ and I couldn’t put it any better myself. And if it can win over my carnivore boyfriend it can win over anyone!
