Isabella Café – Anybody say ‘breakfast’?

After biking through Reforma Avenue on a Sunday morning, I began to get a little hungry. As I turned to the area of Condesa, a very chic wall of flowers caught my eye and I couldn’t help entering and asking for a table.

Isabella Café is a very cool spot to have breakfast any day of the week. The service is very good, the staff are kind and they can help you choose if you are a little confused.

The tea is great at the perfect temperature. The Torta de Chilaquiles is really good, a little hot for non-Mexican tongues but really worth a try . If you aren’t in the mood for that, the benedictine eggs are superb.

The whole place is decorated with flowers, plastic ones unfortunately (we were told that the day after the opening, during the night, a lot of flowers went missing and that some costumers took one or two as they left, so they decided to change that 🙁 ).

Oh, and they are pet friendly, but only at the tables outside.
