Manuel Carpio – Purple sky

One of the best gifts that spring gives to the city is the ability to appreciate the sky with this touch between purple and intense violet that automatically attracts your attention. I mean the jacaranda trees, which in this season give us a sample of the mysticism and beauty of nature.

Undoubtedly, you can find this kind of tree on almost on street. However, in one of the places I frequent, the neighbourhood Casco de Santo Tomás, on the street of Manuel Carpio from the ESCA and going towards to ENCB, one of the sidewalks is covered with this type of trees on both sides. Having them above your head makes you feel in a little purple paradise within the chaos of the city. This passage of about 1km full of this type of trees gives you a perfect instant pic of this season. Just passing by with all that beauty makes the day better for everyone.

This kind of beautiful postcards that nature gives us can also be admired in other places, however, this is my favorite one. Some others where you can delight your eye with this color so full of life are in Ciudad Universitaria of UNAM, Polanco, Roma, Condesa, Reforma, and Chapultepec.
