I am not really a street food fan. I can actually say that I have a paper stomach, but when I discovered Taquería Miranda… my life changed. I approached the sound of the voice of the man in charge as he was shouting “Pidalos” (“ask for them” in Spanish) and I felt invited by him to go get them.
The offer will satisfy every whim. The process is as follows: first you decide what you want your taco to include: from chicken breast to salted pork, deep fried pork, beef, chorizo, Pastor (something like kebab but made of pork), or maybe a combination (here we call this “campechano”) and, of course, you can add cheese.
Then, as you receive your plate with the jewel on it, you go to the toppings section, which is indeed a completely different menu. At this moment, your taco is about to turn into a complete meal. Get a drink and you are all ready!
I CANNOT eat more than 3, and they will keep me more than satisfied.
These are very good tacos at a real Mexican street food stand.
