Tlaco – Prehispanic fast food

The most precious part of Mexican Culutre is its cuisine. We take pride in what we have inherited from our ancestors and some of us have started movements to preserver our legacy as “Hijos del Maíz” (children of the corn).

This team of 3, Oliver, Emmanuel and Judith, have made an amazing job, not only at preserving corn, but also with the traditional ways to prepare tortillas, tostadas and tlacoyos, taking them to a whole new level of taste and nutritional balance.

Tlaco Condesa takes one of the main traditional dishes, the tlacoyo, and claims it to  be the first “fast food” in the country.

The Tlacoyo is the main character, a must-have is the best grasshopper tostadas in all of Mexico, and the amazing pulque popsicle.

Too tired to go outside and don’t want to miss the experience? Tlaco also does deliveries to your location.
