This is one of the few pubs I know where you have to book a table to be sure you get a place. The secret of its success is the maniacal research of the ingredients and of the providers, especially when talking about beers.
The first time I was here I tasted quite a few different craft beers before ordering one (the host made me taste some to help me make my choice), you know, I just wanted to be sure to choose one I really liked. They all had impossible names, but I duly wrote them down so as to be sure I would not forget. The next time I went I was absolutely self confident about my choices, and showed off with my friends proudly pronouncing the impossible names, only to find out that the beer list changes almost continuously. How disappointing! I must admit acid beers are always on the menu, and they are a safe choice, although they are completely different from what you are used to (supermarket beers, ugh!).
Their hamburgers are also delicious because of the quality of the raw ingredients (a local butcher shop provides all the meat), and the cheesecake is unmissable!
This is the perfect place to eat with friends, learn about beers and listen to good music, but keep in mind it is loud and crowded all the time.
