Monkey Food is one of several vegetarian and vegan cafes we have in Minsk. The guys got closer to the city centre with the second café they opened on Kastryčnickaja street in 2019.
There are a few seats and you can dine in. However, it’s basically a fast food café, so you might rather want to order for take-away and stroll around and enjoy the urban art or even walk down to the river.
Although I’m omnivorous, I really like their seasonal recipes (be it kebab/falafel rolls, burgers or pies). Monkey Food is also my favourite food service, as it stays true to its green values and delivers food by bike all year round (don’t worry, special thermal boxes are used to keep the food warm).
The ethical food, eco-friendly packaging and fair prices are only some of the reasons to give it a try or even become another loyal customer if you stay longer. Remember to share #yourdaywithoutmeat experience afterwards.
