Why Montreal?
Montreal hits all of your angles. It’s a sophisticated place, but it’s also really down to earth. It’s got amazing food and top-notch art, universities and libraries, but it’s also a little bit trashy. It has a really complicated linguistic and cultural history, but at the same time it is friendly and laid back.
