Boustan Montreal

Boustan – Late-night Lebanese delight

Best shawarma sandwich in downtown Montreal! Open 17 hours a day, every day of the week, it’s a great spot for a quick lunch, supper or a late snack after dancing into the wee hours of the night on Crescent street.

I often pop into this original Boustan location to grab a quick lunch. The joint is small but always packed to the gills with students from neighboring Concordia University and business office people. The hardworking staff packs your pita sandwich to your liking with choices of chicken, beef, falafel or mixed and, unlike many other Lebanese places, they put the sandwich on the grill for 5 minutes which crisps up the pita bread while melding all the ingredients inside. They also have their famous garlic potatoes served with garlic sauce but watch out because the smell may linger for the rest of the afternoon!

With a wide array of vegetarian dishes, salads, rice, and stuffed vine leaves, this Middle-Eastern premium fast food spot with their easy prices has something for everyone. Don’t miss this place when hanging out in downtown Montreal!
