The Hvmans café is located on the corner of MacKay and Ste-Catherine streets, right in the middle of the Concordia University student hub.
With its floor to ceiling windows, the natural light shines in giving the place an airy and clean downtown vibe. The café is littered with little plants and cacti giving the space a pop of green and freshness. Although it’s located on one of the busiest streets of downtown, the simple décor and delectable coffees and sweets will keep you serene and focused on your conversations or studying.
They offer a great choice of classic espressos and coffees as well as a selection of bags of roasted beans, smoothie and juices. I’m a hardcore coffee lover and this place has great coffee, I like to get my usual cappuccino. In addition, they sometimes have delicious vegan goodies from Sophie Sucree, such as blueberry maple muffins and pistachio coconut bars. Selections vary.
When strolling downtown, do me a favour: skip the big chain coffee shops and try out this spot – it’s worth it!
