L’abreuvoir – It’s hockey time

Coming to Montreal without experiencing an ice hockey game would be a grave mistake. Born in Montreal, ice hockey is the sport that feeds the soul of the city. The local team, the Montreal Canadiens, have won the most Stanley Cups in the history of hockey and its easy to become attached to them. However, games at the Bell Center tend to be quite expensive so what I’ve come to enjoy doing is watch the games at L’Abreuvoir instead!

It’s a bar that I particularly enjoy because not only do they have special beers and chicken wing combos, a heated terrace and two projector screens, they also have Michel Kunta! Kunta is a member of the staff that works at L’Abreuvoir and he has made each of my times there extremely fun.

He always organizes a trivia quiz between periods during which my friends and I have won  free beer, food, and plenty of other stuff! L’Abreuvoir also hosts humoristic shows, karaoke’s and much more so I recommend it to anyone who wants an entertaining bar night.
