This Griffintown neighbourhood spot works with local producers and businesses to create fresh delicious homemade meals. Most of the food is vegan, gluten-free with no added sugars.
I have tried many of their nutritious salad bowls such as the ‘Atwater Market’ with greens, steamed and roasted veggies, goji berries, hemp, sesame and flax seeds and a homemade veggie pate. My favorite is ‘Breathe’ with greens, roasted veggies, mixed beans, artichokes, quinoa and millet, various seeds and beans served with lemon garlic or tahini ginger dressing.
They also have tasty wrap sandwiches made with raw, vegan, gluten-free wraps such as the veggie pate and the eggless salad. They are both great!
My favorite thing about this little gem is their desserts which you can find on the big counter near the coffee machine (did I mention they also serve coffee?!). All the desserts are gluten-free/vegan and some are made with only raw ingredients. Depending on the day, you’ll find an assortment of muffins, cookies, balls, and bars such as chocolate ginger balls and blueberry muffins. Don’t forget to try their delicious chia bowl with fruit, nuts and seeds.
