Cocktails are always a nice accompaniment to a night out on the town in Montreal. Le Lab certainly takes its role as a cocktail bar seriously, with expert in-house mixologists, homemade syrups, bitters, and other ingredients at hand. The menu is seasonal and varies accordingly, with monthly suggestions from the staff.
While the classics are all well executed, I suggest sharing your tastes with your waiter and having them suggest something unique. I’ve been served drinks brought to me in a Chinese take-out container, tiki glasses, or with a side of dried meat hanging on a line. There is usually something different and surprising, so it is hard to try the same drink twice even though they are certainly good enough to repeat.
Along with the stellar cocktails, Le Lab serves snacks, larger plates and a daily lunch menu. My favorite side for a cocktail is the stuffed olives, you won’t be disappointed! Besides the excellent drinks and olives, an impressive pyrotechnic show is also presented on certain nights. Be it for the drinks, a bite, or a fiery show, I always enjoy a night at Le Lab.
