The first time I visited Les Fillettes in Outremont, Montreal, I immediately fell in love with the food, wine, service and setting, and have returned at least a dozen times since. Besides once for brunch, I have exclusively been to Les Fillettes for long lazy lunches, made for enjoying one’s dining companion and culinary experience. The lunch menu includes an appetizer, main meal and dessert, with about five choices of dishes to choose from. I have never been disappointed by my mainly seafood and vegetarian selections. For anyone interested in trying a variety of wines, the selection is unique and the waiters are great at giving suggestions. The name Les Fillettes actually comes from the name for a 250ml bottle format, which you can order. As well, for oyster lovers, on Tuesdays they have a special 1$ per oyster deal.
If you visit during one of the warmer months, be sure to get a spot on the terrace, a beautiful space decorated with vines and flowers. Regardless of what you choose, a meal at Les Fillettes is sure to put you in a great place to enjoy the rest of your day.
