Palais des Thés is one of the most eminent and prestigious tea houses in Moscow. It was founded by the tea sommelier Francois-Xavier Delmas in 1987. The brand owners are convinced that tea is a drink with an extensive set of aromas that people can enjoy like a wine or special delicacy. The first Palais des Thés boutique opened in Moscow in the spring of 2017. Being a fan of tea, I quickly became interested in its concept.
At once it's clear that real professionals are working in this shop. They are ready to tell you about the presented tea collections and in general about the production of tea. In the shop you can buy tea by weight, cold teas, gift sets, sets for tasting, tea in handmade muslin bags and other accessories for drinking tea. For a price, you can even attend a "school of tea" where you will be taught the subtleties of tea drinking (a pre-registration is required).
When I went to Palais des Thés for the first time, I recognized that I knew nothing about tea. I fell in love with this shop for the individual approach to buyers, for an opportunity not only to buy, but also to learn about the product. Tea gourmets, come here!
