Pasternak – Craft bar with handlebars

I would call this place a craft beer spot for winter: it’s located in a basement and doesn’t have a terrace or even a window. The reason I like it is just about one wall painting that is a copy of a caricature drawn by a friend of mine for my birthday – a redhead guy with a handlebar moustache and a beard. When I got a photo of this spot with my “portrait” inside, I assumed it as my duty to find this place.
The location is quite a typical bar, though with a great variety of craft beers (about 30 or even more) on tap. Probably you can even watch football inside. As typical as possible.

But here always come a “but”. One thing is definitely worth trying. It’s honey beer – actually, not beer but medovukha, a traditional Russian beverage made from honey. This sort is brewed with mint – quite refreshing! If you choose to be there, my “portrait” will say “cheers!” to you 😉
