Similar to its New York two-horse counterpart, Saxon + Parole Moscow is a top-level American cuisine restaurant. Located in the most expensive part of Moscow Center, it attracts wealthy and fashionable Moscow people and it’s worth visiting if you’re strolling around Patriarschye ponds and want to fill your stomach with good food.
The nice atmosphere with the fantastic interiors and background music will place you in a mood for quality food. The menu is created by famous US Chef Brad Farmerie. The dishes are not so big here, but the food is exceptionally unusual and tasty. Just to mention some: the roasted bone marrow is a marvel. The portobello mushroom mousse made in a homemade pot with whiskey jelly is awesome as well. Order a beef cheek as a second course and a traditional Russian Honeycake for dessert, made quite uniquely with yogurt ice cream and red currant — really exciting!
Everyone praises the cocktails here, the Manhattan particularly, including myself.
