In Moscow you can find plenty of parks. Troparevsky park is one of my favourites. Actually, I can’t say that it totally differs from all others, but there are some great things about it.

The most unusual thing about this park is its size. It is really huge, and you may be walking there for hours. Usually people call it “forest-park”. Some years ago it was more like a forest, but now it is more accurate to call it a park, because it was seriously upgraded and improved.

In summer you can swim and sunbathe near a lake which is situated inside the park. The beach is quite small, but it’s very cozy and clear. Moreover, uncountable green trees add freshness to the atmosphere.

When it’s not too hot and you can’t swim there, you can have a picnic on shore – it is really enjoyable! Catamarans and boats are also available. You have the opportunity to rent one and spend an hour or more floating there.

If you walk with a child, you will definitely know how to entertain your son or daughter. They can play on one of the playgrounds or roll downhill inside an orb.

Also children like playing and taking photos with funny figures of animals, fantastic beasts and other characters from fairy tales (mostly from Russian ones).

Troparevsky park is wonderful for families with children and for people who want just to get away from it all and to have a jolt of fresh air.
