If you’re always looking for vintage finds and second hand gems like I do, there is one weekly event that is well known among Munich’s flea market lovers: Every Friday and Saturday from 07:00 to 16:00 the parking lot called “Parkharfe” at the Olympiastadion turns into a flea market.
You can find professional and private sellers here who offer everything from ’60s furniture to used records, from traditional Bavarian Dirndl to electronic spare parts, from odds and ends to antlers and other weird memorabilia – you will find for sure what you are not looking for! (I can speak from experience: My favorite find was an oven tin in the shape of an apple.)
And even if there are a bit fewer stalls in winter than when it’s warm outside and spring is in the air, the flea market does take place all-year-round – except on holidays and when there are big events in the Olympiastadion. (You can find the dates on the website.) Happy browsing!
