MUCA is a museum for urban art with changing exhibitions and is located directly in the centre of Munich, although a bit hidden. It is therefore to be assumed that it will not be particularly crowded. Thus, nothing stands in the way of a relaxed visit to the museum.
The exhibition takes place on two levels. You can find pictures, video or light installations or simply urban art. The museum should be a meeting place and show that street art can also be a kind of art form. Young artists do have the opportunity to present their perception of art to the public.
Art can also make you hungry. That’s why you can find the restaurant Mural in the rooms next to it, where you can have an excellent breakfast. I particularly like the furnishings, which were kept in the industrial chic. You can also occasionally find some urban art on the walls, which in turn is related to the museum.
As I’m a big fan of Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich (11.50€), the restaurant is really special to me.
