Nomiya – Sushi and Co.

Bavaria is famous for tradition, beer and Sushi. I’m sorry, that’s not true, there are other countries with good beer. But before I went to Nomiya, I didn’t know that Sushi and Bavarian culture went together very well.

The interior is clean, stylish with a whiff of Bavaria. You are seated on wooden benches with old and used wooden tables with your neighbor very close to you. But that doesn’t matter, because you’re lucky you got a seat at all.

My recommendation: make a reservation please. It’s better to book one week ahead. I made the mistake to call one day before and they did let me know in a friendly way that I’m kind of mad.

Anyway the food is great. Get some of the smoked skewers with mushrooms, shrimps or fish. Very tasty. To your information, the Sushi chefs are Japanese. I think they know what to do.

And I have another recommendation. Drink Tilmans Lager ‘Das Helle’. One of the best new beers on the market. Tilman is a one man show, a young craft beer brewer with a passion for hoppy beers. I love the fruity aroma.
