If you want to know what Munich tastes like, visit Sodala, a small kiosk with craft beers and lemonades, handmade liquors and homemade snacks from Munich and its surroundings. As you can tell, there is a focus on products from small manufactories. I’m always surprised that there are so many brands based in the Bavarian capital.
Sodala started in June 2019 and is located in one of Munich’s hippest districts called Glockenbach. Not the cheapest area, but Roland believes that the demand of people to buy local goods is increasing. And I think he’s doing the right thing.
There is such a big variety of beverages. Have you ever tried lemonade with pine aroma or a ginger liqueur or lemonade that helps you recover after a hard night out?
By the way, “Sodala” is a German word that actually has no meaning. It is used to bring something to an end, like “finally”. For example “Sodala, here is your beer!”.
My recommendation: get you some craft beers or lemonades and stroll around in Glockenbach
