Whether you want a few hours or a whole day of relaxing while the kids play, the Brooklyn Children’s museum is the place to go. The museum has a very pretty exterior and is very hard to miss when walking by it. The exterior of the museum definitely measures up to what is on the inside. The Brooklyn Children’s museum has been entertaining children for years. They have plenty of exhibits for children of all ages to enjoy. Most exhibits are interactive which means they can touch almost everything in the museum.
It has exhibits for every type of child which is something I love. They have a room called the sensory room which is a room of lights and open fun. This room is geared towards kids with Autism and other challenges but anyone is welcomed into the room. The museum makes it so kids can be themselves, have fun and not worry about what others think. Another exhibit that is wonderful is Totally Tots. This exhibit is for children 2-6 and their caregivers. It allows the young kids to play dress-up, be creative and explore science, all while having fun, and it’s designed to help the little ones discover their inner Picasso, make a mess and learn to connect with others.
As a babysitter and an older sibling, I can assure you, when it is time the leave the museum, the kids will beg to spend the night just so they can have more fun.
