New Yorkers are quick to jump at any chance they get to profit from the latest health craze. Enter Hu Kitchen: an eatery that’s dedicated to the Paleo lifestyle (in other words, all things dairy, gluten and grain-free).
From chia seed puddings and smoothies to roasted chicken and root vegetables with mushroom gravy, the food here can hold you up from breakfast until dinner. Albeit expensive, the food really is delicious and satisfies a variety of tastes.
For my fellow sweets-lovers, head on over to the grab-n-go area that’s stocked with almond butter-banana smoothies, almond butter chocolate truffles and walnut fudge brownies (among other savory options).
As per Hu’s motto, fuel your body with their delicious food and “get back to [being] human.”
