Have you ever felt warm and happy immediately after you walked into a place? Do you also like rock music (a bit heavier or not)? Then Brewgata is your place! OK, I might be a bit biased here: yellow has always been my favourite colour. And, of course, I love their music, and the owners are half-Greek. You get the picture…

But there is definitely something special about this place. Brewgata is located at (the now upgraded) Brugata str. in downtown Oslo and is easily accessible. Brewgata has definitely contributed to the upgrade of the area. The place offers a wide variety of beers (as well as coffee and the like). On a regular basis, it hosts live events with known artists and music bingo evenings, so there is something for everyone. It is clear that the owners have invested a lot in its interior design, which gives you a “cozy summer night in the forest” feeling and happy vibes because of the bright yellow color.

And of course the staff! They are really friendly and remember my order – hot chocolate, and even remember and greet you if they see you on the street, even after you haven’t been there for quite some time.
