Oh, yes – a tasty raw cake full of healthy ingredients can make a good breakfast or lunch! Oslo Raw is a raw food bakery and café in Adamstuen in Oslo. All food and sweets are raw, vegan and without refined sugar or gluten – and full of healthy ingredients like nuts, seeds, kernels, fruit, vegetables, plant oil and other natural ingredients.
The café is cosy, and it also has some outdoor tables on the square of Adamstuen. You will always find a good selection of cakes and small treats, chia pudding, brunch plates, acai bowls, salad, smoothies and nice creams. One of my favourites is the mango cake, and I loved the brunch plate: a savoury avocado cracker, chia pudding with topping, two different cakes, and coffee or tea.
They started Oslo Raw with a mission of making goodies that are good for us, and in addition to serving their raw treats, they offer courses in raw baking and events about food, nutrition and holistic health.
For raw inspiration, follow their Instagram – in addition to being magicians in the kitchen, they’re also masters of the art of food photography!
