Torggata Botaniske was a hit from get go, it quickly became a must visit for all cocktail lovers visiting Oslo, and a regular hang-out for locals seeking perfection in a coupé. The green, lush interior; filled with living plants and fresh herbs; makes Torggata Botaniske a tropical refuge all year round.
The menu changes with the seasons, and brings a fresh, new take on a cocktail-trend that only too often seems to focus on which concoction of dark spirits suits the bartender’s current mood. I love a good speakeasy as much as the next fella, it’s not that, but it’s alway refreshing to witness a new take on things. Especially when it’s as delicious as here.
At Torggata Botaniske you can expect to taste fresh ingredients, which are allowed to be the star of the show. You can also expect drops of humour with names like: Salva Hayek, Blue Berrymore and “Rød, svett og vil ikke hjem.”
The only regular drink on the menu, is their self-titled carbonated, bottled up “Torggata Botaniske,’ but they are all equally delicious so you can’t go wrong whichever drink you choose.
