Café des Anges Paris

Café des Anges – Central bistrot

Located in the well-known Rue de la Roquette in Paris 11th arrondissement where you will find many good restaurants near Bastille, le Café des Anges is almost always full. Nevertheless, it’s big enough for you to always find a seat.

The place is nice, crowded but cosy. I’d recommend going there for dinner or in the late afternoon for drinks and snacks. I’ve never been there for lunch but I like the early evening atmosphere. People come for drinks or to have dinner with friends. “Friendly” is the right word to define the place. Friendly and noisy but in a nice way, like when you have so many things to catch up with your friends that you can’t stop talking and laughing. Except that here, everyone is doing the same!

They have a large choice of starters, plates and desserts. All very different but all good. You won’t need a lot to be full and the cocktails are good! It’s a nice place to start your evening wandering in Paris or before looking for another bar to go out. As it’s very well-located, you’ll be able to go anywhere from there.

I personally love their plate of fries covered with French Cantal cheese and bacon :p.
