Do you remember when digital cameras did not exist and you had a maximum of 36 pictures in your camera? Have you ever come across those old black and white photos from your grandparents or relatives that lie in a drawer somewhere in the family house? This small shop situated inside the court of the Marche des Enfants Rouges is a collector’s dream place.
The shop is full of unique prints of photos, some of them of well known actors or singers from France, but also hundreds of anonymous photos that once nicely framed will make an excellent vintage decoration item. Clowns, workers, elegant people walking in Paris, shop attendants, transporters of goods, full family portraits, anything you can imagine is there.
You can get some large format vintage photos to decorate your living room, but also smaller ones that will give a classic touch to that cosy corner in your home. In any case, it is a nice place to spend some time and glance through the hidden treasures they stack in boxes where all the prints are mixed. You can also afterwards take a bite in the nearby market. It is a nice experience to have.
