Readymade is a cafe-bar inside the Palais de Tokyo which is situated just before the entrance of the restaurant Les Grands Verres which we described in another post and you can see here: Les Grands Verres.
This is an unusual place to meet. Hosted in a museum of modern art and in front of a hipster and trendy restaurant, this cafe is organized with some small tables and sitting spaces in the concrete-built steps of the museum. The people around are cosmopolitan, arty and definitely very modern. I like the place because it is big, actually huge, and the industrial nature of its decorations is different from the many bistrots and cafes that are scattered around Paris. Here one feels as if they were in Berlin or Rotterdam, but in a different setup.
In addition to that, one can take a bit of time to visit the collection at the Palais de Tokyo which is an exhibition place that focuses on the visual arts and is always showing some vanguard works.
