Among the trendy hotspots to go for brunch in Paris, you’ll find the Hardware Société, which is in many Parisians’ ‘to-go’ lists.
It’s the Parisian version of two restaurants in Melbourne and reputation has done its job—hence you’ll most likely end up queuing if you decide to go on weekends. If you can do it during the week, lucky you, go then and enjoy!
I went there for the first time to meet a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time. We were late, hungry and it started to rain when we started queuing, but we finally got our seats at a round table with other lucky patient queuers and got to enjoy.
I had the best egg dish ever and will probably come back for more. There’s a lot of choices and vegan options. Everything is very original and looks tasty. We had so much to tell each other and felt so comfy, we stayed until it started closing. They forgot to order our desserts but gave us free brownies to make up for it. They were so nice and it was so good that we easily forgave them.
We left refilled and glad, ready to have a nice Sunday walk in the beautiful neighborhood of Montmartre.
