I had written about a spot called Zenzoo for bubble teas to take away near the Opera Garnier in Paris. Well, in the same street, you’ll be able to find the restaurant where you can get Taiwanese specialties plus your bubble tea.
It’s a tiny spot in the corner of a street away for the busy ones famous for their Asian restaurants in the neighborhood. As tiny as it is, there’s a tiny second floor so even if you can’t make a booking, you’ll be able to find a seat if there’s not too many of you or aren’t too picky. It’s only open for lunch and closes around 7pm.
There aren’t so many choices — just a few and that’ll be enough, trust me. Do not forget to order a bubble tea to drink during your meal (with or without tapioca pearls, warm or cold, depending on what you choose, small or large) and if you’re still hungry after that, try out the nice desserts.
Shame on me, I always order the same bubble teas: mint, lemon, banana or coconut, but shame on my friend who showed this place to me, she also picks the same one each time: the sesame one. Then she ends up leaving the place with sesame seeds in her teeth, but still says it’s worth it. Go and try it for yourselves!
