In the new northern part of City Kvart, a beautifully and smartly decorated bar greatly enhances the appeal of the whole area. Culture club Bukowski, with its unusual combination of sumptuous, art-decor French interior design and Montenegrin way of relaxation make it a trendy spot. Bukowski tries to be many things at the same time; a bar, restaurant, lounge area and a saloon, and somehow they have managed to pull it off with great success.
The bar has two distinctive parts, separated in the middle by a window wall. Lavish rugs, which are beneath almost every table, give it a homely feel, as well, as the fine book collection. The second part of the culture club is filled with bar stools and high tables, more suitable for night-outs and more outgoing events.
Even though I expected something completely different, given the fact that this restaurant and bar is named after the mischievous Charles Bukowski, it sure did pleasantly surprise me and I will keep coming here more often in the future for sure.
