I just found out about this place and at the same moment it became one of my favorites. Pizana is a sales gallery that has a fairly large collection of contemporary artists from the Balkans.
There is the possibility that this place won’t be of interest to those who are not lovers of high art. In defense of that, I must say that the collection also contains a few small and authentic handicrafts. On the other hand, it might be interesting for those who are familiar with art to compare contemporary artists and different dynamics in the arts of Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia …
The only downside is that there are no texts to accompany the viewing of the pieces. But the gallery staff are more than kind enough to list and explain the origin and style of the artworks.
And even if you are not able to buy a painting or sculpture, I still think it would be very interesting for you to visit this place. Collective exhibitions of this intensity are rarely encountered, and the knowledge that I can attend it whenever I want makes my day!
