Located at the Matosinhos’ Market in Porto, Manifesto is a place supported by four strong pillars: design, slow narrative, travel, and articles. If you like Editorial Design, this is a mandatory stop because you’ll find lots of specialized books and magazines that you won’t be able to find anywhere else in the city.
The travel pillar is a Nomad responsibility, a local travel adventure agency that exists since 2007 and provides some different experiences, totally unusual and extraordinary. Publications, documentary photography, really tasty coffee, some delicious homemade cookies and a lot of content are some things you can find in every corner of Manifesto. They also host some unusual workshops about content production for travelers and their adventures that make their vision of enjoying places totally special.
What I love to do is to ride the bus 500, see all the beaches, get off on the final stop and go straight to Manifesto to work on some projects, look at some references of papers, types of publications, layouts, and e-content production. It’s inspirational, it’s a place to slow down, enjoy good moments and reflections. So: to all curious and creative souls: manifest yourselves!
