Artisanal bakery and restaurant: that’s how Moment’um calls itself and there is no way to disagree. And knowing that everything tastes amazing is the best thing about it!

Moment’um is right in front of Campanhã Metro and train station so, if you’re going to take a train or the subway, try to go there before so you can buy some pastries to take with you! For lunch, they serve some Portuguese dishes (alheira, prego em prato, francesinha, prawn risotto, codfish à Brás, among others) and a lot of vegetarian and vegan options too.

But if you want to grab a coffee and eat something, they offer lots of kinds of breads (carrot, rye, chocolate, tomato, and some others made of a mix of flours), croissants (even vegan ones), toasts, custard tarts (with vegan options too), etc. My favorite of them all is called ‘lanche’ —a Portuguese word for snack— a salty pastry with a variety of fillings. The Moment’um vegan option is made of carrot dough and filled with mushrooms, tomato and oregano: so tasty!

If you want a francesinha, know that their francesinha is usually prepared in a wood oven and they look really really good. If you want to go there, just give them a call first to confirm if there are any seats available and, in case of the vegan pastry, ask if they can save one for you; they are so good that everyone wants to buy them. Run, Forrest!
