A new spot in Porto, recently opened in July 2018, The Happy Nest is a coffee shop that brings a lot of comfort food to your breakfast, lunch or brunch. Léa e Capucine, the happy, nice owners, are two French friends that travel a lot around the world and found in Porto their new nest to make good meals by eating simple, fresh products and having a good time.
At this place you can find things like: French croissant, yogurt bowls, cookies, toast, granola, fresh juices, different types of coffees, and a lot of other options. The best thing of all: they have gluten-free and lactose-free options, so it's a Happy Nest even for you that have some intolerance or different lifestyle. They open on weekends only for brunches (it costs €12.50 and includes a cold drink, a hot drink, a cookie, an avocado toast, a croissant and a small yogurt bowl).
I talked to them and their cookies are made by an American woman using the traditional recipe of American cookies and their croissants are made by a traditional French boulangerie located at Foz, baked fresh every morning using French ingredients. Seriously, everything I've tasted at The Happy Nest has been amazing, but the croissants are definitely the best in town. Salty, crunchy and yummy!
For meetings with friends, organizing your event, chill a little, eat a great slice of cake or chat with those amazing girls, just go there!

"Bugo Art Burger" was the first restaurant in Porto to cook special burgers. Even after all that time, it still has THAT twist! Mango chutney burger anyone?
