Among new coffee shops recently emerging in Prague, Cafe La Boheme is in my opinion the most outstanding one. In addition to the delicious coffee they serve, I was very impressed by the interior. Some might find the interior too eclectic but that’s what I admire it for. I like that everyone can find a peaceful corner to enjoy their cup of coffee.
Cafe La Boheme also won the best interior award at the Czech Bar Awards this year. The Café is owned by one of our prominent coffee roasteries – La Boheme, and they offer coffee for very reasonable prices. I love that you can buy a variety of coffee beans to prepare coffee at home. They also offer a nice selection of tea and equipment for coffee preparation such as aeropress, drip, pots, etc. Therefore it’s a must see site for coffee geeks!
Another thing I admire about Cafe La Boheme is the incredibly accommodating staff, or more precisely baristas. The ladies are incredibly nice, they remember you and like to catch up on the latest with you which makes you feel at home. The baristas always come up with something new, such as special coffee drinks or some specials like Chilly-rum-hot chocolate in winter. At the same time they offer specialties such as Japanese cold drip which I find really interesting! The Café is located in Vinohrady, a neighborhood where many of my favorite cafes are situated.
